My dearest Juergen,
I’m struggling to find the right words because hearing about your move to a peaceful place feels so unreal and heartbreaking. You have been such a guiding light in my life-every moment we worked and laughed together has left an indelible mark on my heart. You were the first person to let me explore Germany and truly experience German life, opening a whole new world for me. I always remember and deeply miss the internship in your department; those days taught me so much and remain some of my most cherished memories. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without your wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support.
I often wish we had met sooner, so I could have treasured even more time with you. Your presence brought comfort and strength, and now, even though you’ve gone to a place beyond, I feel your spirit close to me every day.
I hope you find the peace and happiness you so deeply deserve. Remember, this is not goodbye. Our bond goes beyond time and distance, and I believe with all my heart that we will meet again. Until then, I will carry your memory with me, missing you dearly.
